ABSTRACT

Strengthening the character of discipline in school environment is very necessary because many cases that show students today who are often late for school, skipping class, or not doing homework this behavior is often done by students who have reached grade IV. already in grade IV. So it takes the role of the teacher in the formation of this discipline character, the teacher can also apply it to the Education it to the subject of Citizenship Education subject. The purpose of this article is to find out (1) The role of the teacher in the formation of the (2) Factors that influence the formation of students' disciplinary character (3) Efforts made by teachers in shaping students' disciplinary character. Efforts made by teachers in shaping students' disciplinary character. This research method using a qualitative approach approach method, namely literature study or literature study. Technique data collection technique by collecting several previous studies to find out the role of teachers in shaping the character of discipline in grade IV students at Madrasah Ibtidahiyah. The results of this study can be concluded that the role of teacher's role in shaping the character of student discipline is very influential where teachers not only as educators but also as role models for students both inside and outside the classroom. students both in the classroom and outside the classroom.

ABSTRAK

Penguatan karakter kedisiplinan di lingkungan sekolah sangatlah perlu dilakukan karena banyak kasus yang menunjukkan para pelajar sekarang  yang sering terlambat ke sekolah, membolos, atau tidak mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah perilaku ini sering dilakukan pada siswa yang sudah meninjak kelas IV. Maka dibutuhkan peranan guru dalam pembentukan karakter kedisiplinan ini, guru juga dapat menerapkannya pada  mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengetahui (1) Peranan guru dalam pembentukan karekter kedisiplinan siswa (2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa (3) Upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif yaitu penelitian studi kepustakaan atau studi literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara mengumpulkan beberapa penelitian terdahulu untuk mengetahui peranan guru dalam penbentukaan karakter kedisiplinan pada siswa kelas IV di Madrasah Ibtidahiyah. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peranan guru dalam pembentukan karakter kedisiplinan siswa sangatlah berpengaruh dimana guru bukan hanya sebagai pendidik tetapi juga sebagai teladan bagi siswa baik di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas.
